Great news for all wine drinkers

In a victory for consumers everywhere, the Supreme Court ruled that if a state allows wine to be shipped within a state, then wine must also be allowed to be shipped between states. In a 5-4 decision, the high court struck down shipping bans in Michigan and New York, saying it is unconstitutional for a state to allow in-state wineries to ship direct to consumers while stopping out-of-state wineries from doing the same thing.

This is great news if you live in a state that previously made it a crime to have wine shipped to you. So if you live in a place where we have told you that we could not ship to you, times are changing and we will be able to ship to you soon.

We will update you on this page and by email as events unfold. At the moment, our only restriction is that we can not ship to counties in which the sale of alcohol is illegal, also known as “dry” counties. However, we need to wait a few weeks in the case of some specific states to review any legislative action.
