Joh. Bapt. Schäfer
Introducing our newest discovery, Sebastian Schäfer, who is practically a one-man show since taking over the reins of this small Nahe winery from his ailing father in 2002. However, the first vintage he worked by himself was actually 1997 when, at a mere 20 years of age, he was awarded a placement in the Gault Millau wine guide. In September 2013 his career took a giant step when he was formally invited to be a member of the Nahe VDP by chairman and neighbor, Armin Diel, at their annual wine auction. Sebastian has arrived!
